I feel very sorry for the guy losing his livelihood in this way. I've never heard of an arm injury curtailing a career before.

I’m hoping it’s not as bad as that. Top sports people do often make stronger than expected come backs from these sort of things. Mental toughness, adherence and commitment to re-hab etc.
