The chancing fucker should be left in his office with a Webley, a bottle of whisky, and a clear understanding of what is expected of him.

They did that with Corbyn, apparently. Only he drank the whisky and shot the Labour Party :)

Angela Eagle has the support of 6% of the membership of the party I'm told.

JC has over 50%.

Who are you kidding?
As for the maths. There are mathematic 'theories' on both sides, they are not the same as mathematical facts. I asked for maths.

Great. :| I love the way that both you and Gove have used facial characteristics as an indicator/ non indicator of moral value. It did seem to me that Gove was basically saying 'I know I look corrupt, but I'm not really'.

In fairness she's a helluva lot more qualified than Maggie ever was. Sadly she's just as much of a b*tch.
But she's more like a b*tchy relation who you can tolerate ..........rather than just some random b*tch, like one of your mate's Granny who's a total Nazi.
If the Tories offered me a £3 vote.....I'd definitely go with May.

If removing corporate interest from the House were to become a serious issue,.......Corbyn and May would have some quality debates.

Isn't May the only one to go on record saying the human rights act should be abolished?

They won't make it a serious issue. It would be terrifying if they did.

Yes.
But what to replace it? Over and over people state an objection to some aspect of the EU without saying what would replace it, we could have almost no change in any practical sense

I don't know what she wants to replace it with, she used the delayed deportations of Hamza and Abu Qatada as the justification for her stance but I'm sceptical. Pretty easy to get the populace on your side when you involve the word "terrorism", most likely she wants to tinker with something else.

It certainly won't be "almost not change in any practical sense" otherwise she wouldn't bother posturing about it.

Because empty rhetoric is anathema within the political world?

I'm amazed that given the situation which saw him booted out of government he thought this was a reasonable move. I'd imagine he's angling more for another cabinet role rather than seriously thinking he stood a chance at being leader, but it does seem somewhat sick.
