Embarrassed for Itoje making those sound effects when he was tackled off the ball twice there. Very glad the referee had a word with him about it - no need to be shouting "AUGH!" when you've just had a normal level contact just to attract the ref's attention.

We're just so slow in everything. Rucks are laboured, clearouts are average at best Youngs isn't getting the ball out quickly, no-one's running onto the ball at pace, and the backs don't look like they've met up before the match.

We ran into a few people for a while, then knocked the ball on. Got it back and did some more running into people. Then we kicked it away so they could run into us for a bit.

Sinckler's been good, as has Genge. Aside from that, it's been drab and uninspired.

What does Billy V offer if he keeps coughing the ball up in contact?

I thought Hill has been efficient and the two props a constant threat. Apart from that . . .

After the dazzling match at the Stade de France yesterday evening, this is third division drivel! Apart from the well-taken try, it's been an error-strewn performance by England with little cohesion at all.
Eddie will surely be obliged to bring on the bench early in the second half, but he's such a pig-headed individual that he'll probably wait until the 79th minute.

This is crucial info, thank you. Bar queues are one reason I haven’t been to HQ in a long time.

He's making good yards and distributing well, but needs to be less ambitious with a wet ball. He is a high quality 8.

Is. He’s also superior to whoever would replace him, imo.
