Would rather have had Chawatama available here to go up against Marler at set piece, so interesting to see how that works.

Yeah just spent a good few seasons rarely stringing any games together. Still has his moments though.

Tom the world strong man champion is like 6ft9 right, complete monster. They call him the albatross due to the wing span when he holds his arms out.

I saw some of the bits of them in the gym generally making what the rugby players were doing look easy.

Rory Jennings as a hard carrying, stocky, offloading 12 was not on my beginning of season bingo card.

I know they’re banging Arundell for tbe passes but Cinti he got to hold some depth. Hard for the first cause he’s angling for the cross field, but he absolutely gets too far forward for the second. A modicum of depth and he walks in.

yep, passer always slows down; mind running lines off Arundell would be tricky, so quick and steppy. Looks in good nick again. Nick David also impressive as above. And Dykes. And Pearson

Nice to give MOTM to Dykes but I thought it was Pearson by a mile. He looks class.

Told you all*. He reminds me a bit of Murley. A decent finisher, who's strong and agile in contact.

Made hard work of that in the end in the second half a man up, but nice to bring it home without too much panic.

Thought Pearson was great again. His level of performance is so consistent.

Never using one word when many will do, his monotone dreary droning seems to know no bounds. Lol is probably still a nose ahead, but Hyoogs is edging up on the rails and I reckon he'll just pip him by season's end.
As to the rugby :

I know Cunningham-South is a Kiwi, but is he England qualified? Presumably so, since he has a few U20s caps. Impressive athlete.
Paddy Jackson keeps plugging away as one of the most consistent FH's in the league. His non-flashy distribution and quality place kicking are central to LI's game.

Cunningham-South is England-qualified somehow, but don't know how. Everything I can find on him says he grew up in NZ without confirming he was actually born there, so it could be he was born here and moved over young or it's the old parent/grandparent card trick.
