That ball **had** to go wide. What is wrong with Farrell that he passes that back inside? 5-on-2 overlap and he looks for the prop on his inside.

Loving the immediate sack at the lineout. Really good tactic.
Our attacking ruck speed is also massively improved this game. Significant upgrade from what we've seen so far this tournament. Signs of the coaching team actually improving things.

Cheap shit from Bottia there, attacking the man on the ground in the ruck.

Farrell not improving the situation by whining at the referee. I wouldn't give his side the reversed penalty either.

Eng been outrageous at stealing Fijian ball, real masterclass. Will they be able to do it against Fra or SA next week tho?
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

So, how long until the dreaded shuffle? Not really been able to get Smith in the game much today.
Lawes winning 4 (?) turnovers on the ground is quite a sight.

Pretty weak from Itoje. The guy's line makes it a tricky one, but you've got to at least slow him down.
The fact our bench will be slowing us down is going to start to bite now.

He's been shocking at supporting our own rucks though. James Haskell levels of ineffective clearing.Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 5:28 pm So, how long until the dreaded shuffle? Not really been able to get Smith in the game much today.

Re: QF v Fiji
The tactics have been changed for this game. Might be that they are adjusted again for next weekend. Against Samoa we had a tactic to try and keep as many on our feet as possible so it was only Curry who competed at the breakdown outside of the 22. Very different setup this weekend.Donny osmond wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 5:25 pm Eng been outrageous at stealing Fijian ball, real masterclass. The error count from England still to high. Daft penalties from experienced players really has hampered us today.

Re: QF v Fiji
Itoje has seemingly just forgotten how to tackle and Sinfield’s defence is still gash out wide.

Farrell missed the penalty and since then it’s all Fiji.
Now we need the leaders. lol. When Farrell is your captain, you’refucked
