Nope. There are some ballsy law firms on the case though. Welcome to the Terradome.
What exactly are the law firms planning on doing given that he's flat out ignored the Supreme Court saying to bring the guy back? His own, stacked and stuffed, Supreme Court voted unanimously that he had to undo the rendition, and he's shrugged his shoulders and said he's not going to.

Puja
He hasn’t quite got the point of refusing to obey the court order, he’s just saying that he can’t. It’s all complete BS, but just about keeps him away from a constitutional crisis for the moment.
So he'll eventually say no and gets some body to turn and not execute their role and basically he's emperor overnight......this is how it plays out?

Maybe. Honestly don’t know. Weren’t not quite at constitutional crisis stage at the moment, he isn’t stating publicly that he will ignore a court order.

Will he decide that the courts can’t do much and public opinion is with him, so he might as well just ignore the judiciary? Dunno. I wouldn’t put it past him.

Is heavily armed public opinion with him? I should adopt your optimistic outlook given you are there but it looks brutal from the outside

Sorry. To be clear I was referring to his base. They seem to like the idea of alleged gang members being disappeared to El Salvador. Some will probably not care if he does defy the courts but some seem to regard the constitution as sacred and might not approve. Trump won’t give a toss about upsetting Democrats

His core MAGA supporters will stay true for a long time, even through the recession he's doing his best to generate. But there will be a bunch of Trump '24 voters who will not stay with him in the face of rising prices, rising unemployment, stagnation. Whether the Dems can inspire them is another matter. Or if they'll have a free and fair election in '26 and '28, that's another matter in the balance.

Ikr? Plus Coney Barrett actually acting like the law mattered. It must be really egregious if even the puppet turns against it.

I guess encouraging people not to rape eachother is now the domain of the thought police and big government.

I’m curious how different communities may have different views on consent.

I think the clash may occur because teaching consent properly invalidates their cultural belief that a wife is the inalienable property of her husband (as with all things in that culture, offer available to whites only).

It's good to hear the rebellion is active MP, not something we necessarily see from afar. I've always believed America wouldn't take this shit, but the initial speed with which they've been able to progress their agenda has been disturbing.

She wasn't arrested for one of her judgements but the eagerness of Trump's lackeys to go after a judge might cow some of them. It's crossed another line. The next arrest will be easier, less of a headline.

It’s a tricky one. I’m normal times, a judge being arrested for helping a wanted person escape from federal agents wouldn’t be such an issue. She allegedly overstepped the mark and she isn’t above the law.

The problem is that these aren’t normal times and we don’t trust the Trump administration.
